Don't miss this unique opportunity!
Join us and let us bring you on our exclusive Sunday tour to the magnificent islet of Tindhólm.
After a short boat ride from the harbour of Sørvágur, where you will sail close to the sea stacks Drangarnir, you get the unique opportunity to step on land on Tindhólm. Our guide will bring you on a walk on this fairytale-like place only populated by sheep and birds. Along the way you will learn about its history and legends.
Greeting sheep and puffins along the route you will be guided to the westernmost point of the islet and walk through a plateau of the greenest grass with small lakes on to the basalt rocks close to the shore where beautiful wildflowers decorate the otherwise bare landscape. From here you will have a picturesque view of the islets spiky peak rising from the ground.
After the walk you can sit and enjoy your Sunday coffee and home-baked cake on the terrace outside a small turf roofed cabin while listening to the sounds of nature and breathe in the fresh air.
From Tindhólm you can enjoy the view of the nearby islet Gáshólmur and the island of Mykines.
This tour is perfect for both individuals, families, and larger groups.
The tour lasts approx. 4,5 hours. If the weather permits, the captain will show you other unique places near the islet.
