Meeting point is here: https://mapstreetview.com/#1119ng_-3zxqo_31.0_-pb36
Here’s an exclusive opportunity to be shepherd for a day. On july 11th, 12th or 13th (depends on the weather conditions), you can join a faroese sheep drive.
The trip starts, and ends, by the soccer field in Leirvík, which is located above the village. We’ll start at 8 AM (08:00). The duration of the trip is between 3-4 hours.
The tasks of the day are to drive the sheep in the sheepfold, where they will be shorn and given medication. You will get the opportunity to participate in all the activities, where you’ll be following the locals.
At the end of the excursion, you’ll get coffe and pancakes, which is a part of the faroese tradition, during activities like these.
You can choose between an easy or moderate route, and it is child-friendly.
There is only room for 15 participants.
