The hike starts and ends at the parking place near by a sheepfold above the village Sandavágur, follow the signs to Trøllkonufingur down in the village. There will be a sign on the sheep fold, showing Hiking.fo

Then the hike go to north and up the hill on a track, there will be a stop by the rebuilt turf sheds at Reynabrúgv also to enjoy the view to the village Sandavágur.

The hike continue up the hill on a track and at the Pass, we start to hike the first mountain Malinstindur (683 mtr.)
On the top of Malinstindur there is view to the islands, more and less, depended on the visibilty.

After a short stop the hike starts down again, down to the Pass, and we start to hike up the next mountain Húsafelli (591 mtr.)

When reach the top of Húsafelli the hike stops for a break.

After the stop at the Húsafelli, the hike continue to the third mountain Krosstindur (574 mtr), on the pass Kjaldarskarð, and this is the part of the hike you have to be calm and carefull.

After the mountain Krosstindur we walk by the hillside down again, and will have the oppurtunety to see the Trøllkonufingur from different angles.

There is a option not to hike to Krosstindur and just go straigth to the hillside at Skoragarðar to enjoy the view to the Trøllkonufingur (313 mtr.) (the witch finger) which is a seastack. And wait for the rest of the group there.

The hike to Krosstindur is wheather permitted and on rainy and windy days this part of the hike will be canceled. And the group go straigth to the hillside Skoragarðar to view the Trøllkonufingur.

The hike will continue down to the “view” at Skoragil, and the last part of the hike is on a narrow road back to the parking place by the sheepfold.

You are only allowed to walk in this area with guide.

Recomended: Stick, rain coat, terrain boots

Meeting point for hike: When you enter into the village Sandavágur, you'll find a sign with Trøllkonufingur, follow that sign out to a parking place where you at same place will find a sheepfod where there will be a sign hiking.fo
