The hike starts in the village Søldarfjørður, by the sheep shed above the oil storage tanks. From here we follow the path to the first cairn, then upwards the slope Spreingibrekka to Ritafelli, over the pass to Miðafelli and then to the summit of Stórafjall. From Stórafjall north to Bispur and following the edge of Stórafjall back to Navarin. From Navarin descending by Urðarbrúgv and then Sandbrúgv to Kongseið. From here further down to Tarvastein and return to the sheep shed by way of the cairn.
You will be provided with a packed lunch at the outset, and soup on your return.
