Amazing and breathtaking views

Thanks to the road up to Sornfelli, you can drive up to approx. 600m. Here you will find a big place, where you can park your car (picture) This spot is very popular when watching the sunset. If luck has it, you can watch the sunset, when returning from our hike.

The hike starts at the parking place.

The hike is not hard, but sometimes steep.

Coming up to the mountain top, you will have the most spectacular view imaginable. You will see all the southern isles as well as Vágar. To the north you will see most of the nortern isles too.

We will dwell at the top app 15-20 min. Then we will hike back to the cars.

The hike is app 2 - 2.5 hours

Pól Sundskarð

Pól is born in 1957 and grew up in Klaksvík, Faroe Islands. As a youth Pól already showed his skills as a proven sportsman in many different categories. The interest in the extreme sport started at a relatively late level in his life. In 2015 Pól ran 526 km in 5 days, and the same year he and his wife Bjørg, as the first couple in the Faroes, climbed all 340 Faroese mountains.
